RDI AND PRESSURE

I was wondering for those out there using cpap or bi-pap the correlation of RDI and pressures that people are at to see the variations among users. My RDI was 110 and I am at a pressure of 17. I would like to see what pressures others are at by comparing others pressure to RDI. I know that this is individual for each person. I am just curious.

Follow-up

Dear Curious, It would seem that the more severe your apnea, the higher your xPAP pressure would need to be. However, that is not the case. In doing a statistical evaluation of our last 1700 sleep studies there is no correlation between the 2 variables. We have people with RDI's as high as yours and need only 7 or 8 cm pressure. Conversely, we have people with RDI's of only 30 who need 20 cm pressure. Everybody is different.
