Just be warned - Your equipment will be already picked out for you (even your mask size) before anyone even talks to you! You have the advantage of having read these posts (that a lot of us didn't have) - PLEASE use them to your advantage! MAKE sure you ask your provider to explain ALL of your mask options! MAKE sure they measure you! MAKE sure they know that you will keep coming back until you have a mask that fits! If you do want to try the auto c-pap and they tell you that it costs more then your insurance will cover - then tell your insurance you will talk to your doctor about bi-pap (now the $950 auto-pap doesn't look so bad to them - bi-pap $1750 - these are THEIR costs.) Be nice, but let them know that you have done your homework and are taking an ACTIVE role in your health care.
