On a different thread, a poster said that pressure that is too high can cause Central Apneas, not a good thing. It is very common for docs to recommend a new sleep study for any weight change of 40 lbs or greater. Also, you shouldn't need a new sleep study to get a heated humidifier, just ask the doc to write a prescription for one.
