OK, a science experiment: Take a ham and cheese sandwich w/mayo and cut it into thirds. Put the first thrid in the refrigerator, put the second on the night stand next to your CPAP and put the last third outside on the picnic table...in St. Louis...in August. (You might want to put a cage around it to keep out squirrels and big yellow dogs.) Come back two days later. The first third would be a little dry, but would taste fine with a milk. The second third may look a little scary, but my 17-year old would have it for an after-school snack. You could use the third piece to poison gophers.
