At 10cm and 14cm I found an 'OASIS' passover
was just fine. At 18cm, heat helped.
I sometimes forget to turn the heat on
and don't suffer terribly. I still use
the OASIS as my 'travel' humidifier as it
is much smaller and lighter than the Humidaire.
