Sandman you have accomplished a GREAT thing...Do you know if I had not started reading your forum I would still be where I have been the last 30 years....I have OSA...a severe case...I had read about sleep apena on MSN forums but it did not have the information are the "family atmosphere" that Sleepnet does....
My husband lived in horror listening to me trying to breath and snoring so loudly that it could be heard outside my home...He read afew of these posts also and begged me to go have a sleep study..The last traw was going to sleep with a cup of hot coffee in my hand talking to him face to face...Hot coffee burned the heck out of my thighs but made me decide I had to do something...
I am disabled and Medicare paid for everything and my Cpap machine also...
I have been a "hose head"-which I say proudly for one month and nine days...I have been able to completly quit antidepressants...and feel more energised everyday...I wasted 30 of not going places or doing things because I was so embaressed with the Ghost like sounds and the gasping for air...
I read this forum several times aday...and realize that there are other people like me and they can help me though and use theur knowledge to teach me what is going on...
Again..Thank you Sandman and thank you to all my other "hose head" family...Blessings...eyes-sleepy
