Hi Trainmaster:
My husband works for the railroad and has SEVERE SLEEP APNEA and the specialist is recommending surgery to straighten his nose wall and to remove his enlarged tonsils and uvula all at once. I have read many comments on this forum and alot of people are suggesting him to have separate surgeries due to the pain etc. He will not be given any pain medication due to how severe his sleep apnea is. He says he will be happy to just be able to use the CPAP to get some restful sleep, any feedback for me on this matter???
Thanks. His surgery sounds risky due to the fact of all the swelling afterwards where a breathing tube may have to be used.
