This kind of thing varies so much from person to person, depending on the equipment, where you live, and your own personal needs. You just have to pay close attention to how you feel on different settings. The temp needs to be high enough to work for you, and then do whatever you have to to keep the rainout down. I have gone to using heating pads wrapped around the hoses, because the insulating socks I bought weren't working.
