Do you think calling Respironic directly will help? 800-345-6443. Press the appropriate choice for a clinician.

Meanwhile, do you think it is reasonable for me to expect my DME to send me a Respironic passover humidifier for the Respironic CPAP they rented me? They sent me a ResMed item and said it is compatible. Respironic said they've never tested their product w/a ResMed item and can't say for sure that it's compatible. I'm getting an exchange, but the DME said that I was making a big production over it when I told him I would like a specific passover humidifier that Respironic recommended (they only have two choices anyway) that was different from the one he was going to exchange... they're still not giving it to me, but I was a little perturbed at his comment, especially when I felt that I was just trying to ensure I have the right product the first time. Sorry, a little vent because they also don't return very polite phone calls I've been leaving!
