earache and popping ears with CPAP?

Posted by nelsleep on September 22, 2002 at 19:38:02:

I am a technician with a patient who reports sore ears and popping ears each time she uses CPAP. This has recently developed after some months use of CPAP. Her usual mask is the Breeze nasal pillows and her pressure requirements are 13cmH2O, machine humidified F&P. Using ff mask and dropping pressures to as low as 7cmH2O has made no difference to her symptoms. Advice?
