I've no personal experience about "Oracle" but drooling, “mouth leaks” in relaxed stage, pressure points inside your mouth and nose breathing have been mentioned from others. Search the forums for world Oracle from the “Top Search Button” and you’ll find much more detailed information.

Because everyone has an unique anatomy inside their mouth making a general oral appliances is a very difficult approach. It’s interesting that Fisher & Paykel tries.

Actually what called my attention in your text was the world “unnatural” when we’re talking about breathing though our nose/sinus contra mouth.

It’s interesting when we’re talking about human population in general it’s “normal” to breath though the nose when sleeping and mouth when awake. If I’ve got the facts right it has to do with breathing resistance in different body positions - lying (nose/sinus lower) contra standing/sitting (mouth lower).

Among other things that’s the reason why Nasal Masks works best for most apnea patients. On the other hand apnea isn’t a “normal” thing, and therefore many of us do better with other alternatives.

Isn’t “being natural” a funny thing - “everyone” is so obsessed with that. I find it boring; but don’t tell anyone - Peter
