I suspect there is another cause for this difference, though I'm not sure what that is. Though the volumes of the masks are different, once pressurize, that pressure will be the same regardless of masks. The volume of flow may be different for other reasons. The volume of flow to the lungs should be relatively constant. The amount of flow the mask allows through the overflow valve (having a brain cramp and can't remember the correct name) may be significantly different. The mask itself may restrict breathing. I could not use a nasal mask because it actually closed off nasal passages which the full face mask didn't. The answer isn't important as long as the correct setting is found.
