16 times an hour ??

I have been today to get a cpap machine to try for a week to see and record data for comparison to the previouse test that said I had about 16 episodes an hour through the night of apneas.I was told this was borderline for an osa diagnosis and to try the cpap to see if there was any improvement.
Is 16 times an hour a lot...... or not ??
