I'm going through the same problems. A couple of ideas:

You may be having trouble getting enough air if your sinuses are swollen or congested. Many people take Flonase to reduce nasal inflammation. I can't say that it has helped me - but I just started using it. Ask your doctor about it and or other meds.

Using CPAP with a heated humidifier may also help relieve congestion. Again, it hasn't solved my problems - but I just got my humidifier 2 days ago. I live in hope.

Finally, there are full face masks and an intriging option called the "Oracle" mask which is mouth only. Search google for "Oracle sleep apnea" and you will get links with more details. I am trying nasal pillow first - but I may try the Oracle if all else fails.

Good luck - and remember that this will take time. Try for a few hours a night and keep trying.
