I have never heard of anyone getting "better" from using any type of flow generator (cpap, bipap, etc). The best you can hope for is to function at close to normal for as long as you remain compliant. The only persons who get better are those whose obstructions are stricktly weight induced and can get their weight under control or those who are not overweight and are lucky enough to be candidates for surgical correction and are lucky enough to have competent doctors.
