This machine has an attachable humidifier.

You attach the humidifier, and you have a pseudo built-in humidifier. It is not a true built-in in the sense that you can take the CPAP and leave the humidifier home. In fact, you can even buy the machine without the humidifier. It is like a built-in in the sense that they fit together, and you will have only one hose and one power cord. By contrast the F&P is a true built-in. Wherever the F&P CPAP goes, so goes the humidifier.
