The purpose in requiring registration is to protect the content of the forum and your privacy.
Through password protection and the forum setup, e-mail extraction bots cannot extract your email address to be redistributed and/or added to search engines. Your e-mail address will be protected.

Your email address will be used to validate your registration but will not show up in your postings.
Do not use your real name while registering. You will not be able to change it when you post. One of the most requested emails we receive are from people asking to have their true name removed.

You only have to register once and you can post on all of the active forums.
