Sandman, while I agree that the original post/request is not in line with the goal of the forum, there is a good bit of detailed information that is given in the followups that I don't think I have seen elsewhere (at least not for a while). We are always trying to give the "other side" to surgery, at least to show that there are other options and that people looking into surgery need to check into what their doctor may not have told them. Kevin (in Walla Walla), while at times anecdotal, has provided some meat for these discussions. If you do choose to remove these posts, maybe Kevin (in Walla Walla) would be so kind as to reiterate what he has said below in a new post so that we can refer to it when we are discussing the drawbacks of surgery.
