Hopefully you will get used to the pressure. 10 isn't that high.

One autoPAP, the AutoAdjust LT, feels easier to exhale with than my CPAP. It seems that the AALT lets up the pressure a little bit as you exhale. Not to be too much of a physics geek, but it's like the CPAP gives out a steady pressure while the AALT is measuring the pressure of the PAP-plus-patient system and adjusts for the pressure the patient adds to the system during exhale. If you exhale at 3cm of pressure, it's like the machine drops to 7 to keep the overall pressure at 10. I hope I explained that right. The point is it feels easier to exhale with the AALT than my CPAP.

By the way, autoPAPs are great. But don't believe all the hype.
