I also found exhaling to be easier with the AutoAdjust LT. I don't know if that is true for other AutoPAPs.

After a month or so, however, I found that when I went back to my ordinary CPAP I no longer noticed any resistance when I exhaled.

So, like many of the others who have commented, I also found it primarily a matter of getting used to the systems.

What seems odd and unnatural initially will, quite quickly, become normal and comfortable. The improvement in your sleep and life are well worth the adjustment.
