I'm using a plain-old CPAP at 15, and I have no problem exhaling.

What the doctor said was that Bi-PAP would be indicated should my next sleep test put me over my current 15.

I was a little bit taken aback by this, as I never had a problem exhaling. If anything, I think I'd want an automatic, but this has never been an issue either.
