Hi, Maestra! I, too, have not had a lot of trouble adapting to CPAP. [there is a string on this forum, I think it is titled "am I the only one?" of people who love their machines.] It took me a month to get enough sleep to feel "normal" but I have finally gotten the sleep debt repaid.

I agree with Alain that you probably don't turn over because your body is trying to keep the mask on. That changed for me after about two weeks and then I got the problems with leaks that others report. However, it is not as bad tossing and turning as I have had at other times.

Re: mouth breathing, I found that when my mouth opened, the rush of air out my mouth woke me up! So then I snap it shut! I don't think that happens any more. Chin strap did not prevent the mouth opening, but I seem to be trained now.
