Do you bind the gag to the chin strap in any way so that it pulls the gag down with your chin if you opened your mouth wide to vomit, or during a power outage with no CPAP air? If not, when you open your mouth does the gag fall/slide into it? If so, as Sleepless in NJ mentioned, it seems like this could be dangerous. i.e. a CPAP interface on your nasal airway and gag across your open mouth.
