trouble staying awake

hello everyone, I found this forum today it looks like it will be good because i may get some support. I have always had trouble at staying awake if i could i would sleep all day and night without a hassle. I have been to the doctor and she has booked me in for the sleep disorder test but i now have to wait until i can get in. This is affecting my whole life, my partner is getting to the point that he cant cope with me always being a sleep after 9 years and im now worried I'm about to lose him. Is there anything anyone can suggest that i can do while waiting for this test even if it only helps me a little bit.
