What model do you have? My Resmed AutoSet Spirit auto starts if I breathe into my mask. My Breeze, actually. I can't use that feature with my full face mask because the anti-axphixiation valve opens and no breath goes to the machine to trigger it.

Did you possibly have a power outage? If not, I'd suspect the machine's computer or other component.

If you can get it to respond to your breathing against it when it's off at least it would restart for you.
