Hmmm... Now I'm not so sure about creating a wind shunt or vent! I just cupped my hand over the exhaust hole on my Breeze, and boy did that create an excessive amount of turbulence and wind noise. My pressure's only set at 10.
On other masks people have covered their original exhaust holes then redrilled identically sized replacement holes where they could better tolerate the stream of exhaust air. Considering that the Breeze's plenum or shell interfaces directly to soft tubing, exhaust hole relocation would not be as straight forward as with other mask's. That plenum's design definately does not lend itself to easy exhaust hole relocation.
One possibility would be to purchase or build an Adams Circuit to use with your nose pillows. It would be easier to relocate the exhaust hole on that mask's tubing. On that circuit the CPAP man
(first merchant in the sleep mall) recommends drilling a 9/64" hole in the top angle of the Adam Circuit's shell or plenum. Thus iff your husband sleeps on your left side, you would drill that exhaust hole right of center. If your husband sleeps on your right you would drill the hole left of center.
