At some point, many hoseheads finally acquire a full face mask and keep it handy in the event of a cold or flu. Barring that, both Maestra and Jackmill's suggeations may help, you can try various herbal remedies that do work, or else you will probably have to work with your doctor to medicate for the stuffiness and swelling.

With colds and flu, there may be times when you will not be able to use your cpap with a nasal mask. During those times if you do not have a FF mask, you will probably do best to try to sleep in a sitting up position until the symptoms stop and you can resume your cpap therapy.
