DO NOT check you cpap! What happens if your checked bag gets lost? Also, have you ever noticed how many pieces of luggage are damaged by baggage handlers as well as bouncing around in the belly of the plane? My cpap bag fits nicely under the seat in front of me--I don't even trust the overhead bins.
Traveling (staying in hotels or with friends/family, sleeping in other beds, changing time zones, different schedules, etc.) can be very stressful. I don't want to add the of lack of quality sleep.
