I was in a similar position with severe apnea and a pressure of 15. They started me out with a BiPAP and I had a hard time with it. I then decided to have the UPPP and deviated septum surgerys done at the same time. It was extremely painful but for me worth every minute of pain. It dropped my pressure to 6. I now use a Remstar Auto and have been mostly complient for 7 years. If your having the surgery to cure your apnea the odds are not very good. But for me it made life with Apnea much easier.
