Just a comment on machines. I have both DeVilbiss Autoadjust/LT and a GoodKnight 418P machines. I don't have UARS but the response, for me, of the GK418P was suboptimal compared to the AALT. The AALT just responds better to me. I keep the GK418P as a backup now.

Don't know if this will help, but as Perry (the expert on these machines) has stated, not all machines are equal for each person. I found that out first hand. Maybe that's what you're experiencing.
