Dry mouth can also be a indication that you are opening your mouth during the night. Air rushing out your mouth will dry out your mouth also. I didn't believe I was mouth breathing untill I took a nap one day when it was quiet in the house and woke myself up with the sound. Try a chin strap (if you can find out that works well) and see if that clears up the problem
