From what I can tell the problem shows up in Forum 106 only. Specifically with threads that originated without proper time/date stamps. Look at the thread titled "Questions about apnea" and most threads that originated prior to that one. If the time/date stamp is not properly generated on a parent message, it seems that some replies to that thread do not show up on the forum's main page.
