There's a different breathing apparatus you might want to consider. It is the Innomed Nasal Aire. For me, masks were absolutely intolerable so I went on the internet and bought one of these.

All I can say is without the Nasal Aire, I would have quit CPAP therapy intirely. And since the tubes are flexible, they go around your ears and down your front. So yes, you can sleep on your back with this.
