This makes me wonder if all people are indeed created equally. I cannot relate to the problem you describe. I cannot even feel the breeze on back of my head except a slight awareness. There should be no problem with side vs back sleeping.
I wonder if by chance the difference in the shape of a persons skull is a factor here.
Anyone with a flat back of skull may have this problem. I can't think of anything that can be done about this if this is the case. A flat breeze simply would not give the holding power needed to keep it stable. This is the secret of the Breeze. Take that away and add straps and you have the Adams Circuit.
