I used an oral appliance for several months which reduced my RDI from 30 to 11. I felt a little better than I had before treatment, but not much. I have now been on CPAP for 2 months and am starting to feel better, but I'm definitely still tired. So there are two things to consider here: 1) a person can definitely still be tired with an RDI of 11 or 12, and 2) it may take a while to start feeling better - you won't necessarily get immediate results upon starting treatment. Of course there are also other causes of fatigue that you may want to explore, but I definitely wouldn't dismiss the idea that the mild apnea is what is making you tired. I would definitely suggest giving CPAP a try if I were you. Good luck!
