Jman...You asked what else could cause excessive daytime sleepiness. The answer is: LOTS of things. Depression and anxiety can cause fatigue, hypothyroidism can too, and then there's anemia. Some chronic inflammatory conditions can cause heavy fatigue (Crohn's Disease, lupus, etc). Multiple sclerosis. Etc, etc, etc. My suggestion would be to get yourself to a very thorough internist and get a complete workup, to rule-out the non-sleep-related possibilities.
