Posted by johnnewmexico on December 19, 2002 at 12:29:00:An earlier post suggested that as much as 40% of the patients with OSA are at or below the ideal weight for their height. I would like to know where this figure came from or whether it is one of those statistics that is often repeated but has no scientific basis. I have also read a post which suggests that more than 80% are overweight. Both can't be correct. Surely there must be a scientific study which answers this question.
