BIPAP sources

Posted by Todd on December 20, 2002 at 21:22:50:

HI I'm new to this list. I just had my sleep study done. I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. i was prescribed a BIPAP machine that can go up to 24-0ver-17, wich I was told takes a special machine. Blue cross Blue shield turned me down citing it was preexisting. Does anyone know where I could find an affordable system? I couldn't believe how good I felt the day after the sleep study even with the frequent wakings to try different masks etc. Looking forward to feeling alive! Todd
