A little misunderstanding, I have had the hyoid suspension and tongue advancement. I will have the jaw advancement in January (the 17th).

My tongue is thicker than the norm. Also, one of the measurements taken from the hyoid bone upward to an axis through the jaw (measures the distance the tongue goes down the throat) should be 17mm (about 2/3 inches), mine is 30mm which is over an inch. That is one of the reasons we are doing the MMA. My cousin had the procedure (similar build to mine). His RDI dropped to less than 2. I am looking for like results. Also, I am not over weight but I do have a slightly "recessive" jaw line with a thick neck.
