alternate blockage

I had a septoplasty and SMD 3 years ago.
Stupidly, I took Sudafed the night before the op.
I don't think the op was a success, because my nose blocks alternately, when in bed i.e the side I am lying on. This is uncomfortable and painful
I use nasal strips, steroid spray, steam breathing and antihistemines
Anyone with similar problem - will another op work ENT say no!
SOLUTIONS anyone?
