Has anyone been titrated at U Mich?

I had my first study done 11/18. Before he wired me up, the tech had me try CPAP for about 10 minutes, in case they did a split-night study, but that did not end up happening, so I'm going for titration 2/4. I think the mask he gave me for those few minutes was the Mirage, and I think he said their only other alternative was the NasalAire (which he didn't recommend because he thought the nasal pillows would be more bothersome compared to the mask for someone who was new to the whole thing).

So, Question 1:
Do you know what masks they have available? I'm thinking I'd like to do my titration with the Breeze/Adams or Ultra Mirage if possible.

I think the tech also said they prefer to start the test without any humidity, but that they would add it later if necessary.

So, Question 2:
Was your titration started with or without humidity? Did you ask for them to use it?

Question 3:
Any other thoughts on UM (in general, or compared to other sites in the area, etc.)? I feel like they have a lot of red tape, making me return to my general practitioner after each PSG for my results and not letting me see an actual sleep specialist until AFTER I've been on CPAP for a while =8( but hopefully I will feel it's all worth it in the end!

Thanks!
Mary
