A question for the campers...

Posted by Dozer on January 16, 2003 at 20:35:15:

I'm wondering how you've dealt with using your CPAP while out of reach of electricity. I haven't tried it yet, but my machine - Remstar Plus - has a 12 volt input for use with a battery. How many nights do you get from a deep cycle battery?(pressure at 8cm) My humidifier does not run on battery so do I do without or use it as a passover? I'm thinking it would be better to do without it rather than wake up with a screaming sore throat from the cold, damp air.

Any experience with this??? I going camping in a couple of weeks and need to get something set up. I appreciate your comments.
