I'm new to CPAP (been trying to use it for 1 1/2 weeks now) and have a ResMed Mirage FF Series 2 mask which I'm having big problems with. No matter what I do, I cannot get this thing to stop leaking. The whole lower part of it under my mouth leaks like a sieve. I've tried putting extra pads under the nose brace and putting extra straps on the lower part of it, but it still leaks. I'm starting to get fed up with it.

My DEM is pretty useless -- they didn't fit me for anything, just handed me the mask in size medium. Nasal masks don't work for me because I can't seem to get enough air through my nose from a combination of deviated septum and chronic congestion.

I've asked about trying the Oracle mask but my DEM is telling me that it must be fitted in the sleep lab which sounds pretty odd.
