Hi...this is the situation. I have been on CPAP 2 1/2 years and now my DME has decided to bill everything late, and Medicare said hey she has enough apneas, but didn't sleep the full six hours,(no one said six hours, all they were concerned about was getting enough apneas) so everything was cut off and I have another study the 31st. I still have the machine which is a rental, but they said I own it... am afraid I may not requalify, number one...and if I do, and some how in this mess they say Medicare paid for the machine, and it breaks down...what is the replacement criteria undr Medicare. I did read that info from months ago, but all that was lsted was supplies. OR do I take y little script back to the same DME with the machine and remind them this is a rental and I never said I was buying??? The stress of it all and I am still tired almost 3 years later........looking at Provigil, but must say from what I read over on narcolepsy, I am apprehensive about that too. The old study meets the current guidelines, why can't they just use that
