Thanks fog. I've now taped my mouth for 3 nights in a row and I definitely don't feel any better. In fact, if I had to say I'd say I'm feeling worse. It's been extremely difficult to get up in the morning - I've been really groggy and slow to wake up. Also, my humidifier is always still 3/4 full in the morning. I only woke up with a dry mouth once or twice, and there's no difference in how my mouth feels when using the tape. I'm kind of thinking that the amount of air that seemed to be escaping through my lips was really negligible. The best way I can describe it is that it was the equivalent of making the sound the letter "p" makes, like "puh". I hope that makes sense. Anyway, I suppose I'll continue trying but as far as I'm concerned there's still no clear evidence that I am mouth breathing.
