Yes. Making a patient wait for several months communicates the idea that OSA is not a serious matter.

After my baseline sleep test, I was told that that it would be six weeks until they could analyze the results. Two days later, they said my case was so severe that I was moved to the top of the list. Within a month, I was titrated and CPAPed.
