I have been thinking about your mask leak problem. I fiddled around with mine for a long time before I got it to work right for me. I read on some of the postings that you can actually make leaks worse if you are tightening the mask too much. I started loosening mine up. It is now a lot looser than I would have ever thought it should be but when I lie down and hook up to the bipap, it forms a better seal loose than when I was tightening it. It is also more comfortable. Somewhere I read that the mask should "float" on your face. I still have to move it around a little when I lie down but then it seals and it works great. The claustrophobic sensation is less to with the mask looser. Hope this helps.
