I have broken mine many many times and simply repair it. Sandman does not permit my repair technique to be posted because he feels it may not be safe for some to try.
The various solvent glues do not work very well.
Obe trick to not break it is to remove it by grabbing it from the back and peeling it off you head- not grabbing it from the front.
