That's been my approach and it has worked ok. Another is to get a prescription for Nasonex or Flonase -- different & less effective sprays.
I'm struggling w/ congestion now and if it weren't so easy to get hooked on Afrin, I be using it. If I don't get better by tonight, I' ll start by using it one nostril at a time.
