Just a question from a newbie

Posted by Snowman on February 13, 2003 at 13:29:49:

Don't know if I'm in the right forum, so here goes. I don't know if I do the stop breathing, start again during the night, but my wife says I snore until this kicks me then I stop snoring. Every once and a while, middle of the night, I wake up - - - can't breath. Best I can discribe it -- like when my brother has an asthma attack. I have to actually get out of bed before I can start breathing without gasping. But I feel a burning in my throat and like I want to throw up. Is this anything like any of you experience??? I doesn't happen very often -- maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Just wonding.
